The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical center is committed to caring for premature and medically fragile newborns. We believe that we have an obligation to each and every infant as their lives depend on the availability of the highest quality, most compassionate patient care possible.

Our NICU provides an unparalleled combination of state-of-the-art technology, a talented team of physicians and specialists, a highly trained and experienced staff, and the family-centered personal care that has become a trademark of AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center.

The NICU at AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center features:

11-bed NICU
California Children's Service (CCS) approved Community Level facility
Full range of specialized, family-centered services - intensive, intermediate and continuing care for premature and medically fragile newborns
Neonatal transport

The NICU Team includes:

Board-certified Neonatologists and Pediatric Sub-Specialist physicians
Lactation specialists
Neonatal nurse practitioners and nurses
Nutritionists
Occupational and Physical Therapists
Respiratory Care Practitioners
Pharmacists
Social Workers

We understand that having an infant in the NICU is a stressful time, and we are here to support families through this difficult time.

The NICU does not have set visiting hours. We strongly encourage parents to visit when they are able and spend as much time as possible bonding with their baby.
